YOU GUYS ARE !@#$ING INSANE WITH THIS! Utopia is the name a project that A-net made as a portfolio kind of thing. They are not done with chapter 4 and havnt come up with a name yet (Well havnt told anyone of it yet) so im assking admins to just prevent otherpplz stupidity and close all threads like this when they pop up! And even if it was the name who gives a %*)^ just anme its like you flies with sugar

Actually, we "kill" abaddon at the end of NF and Kormir absorbs the divine power and energy released, but in Case of Dhuum, Grenth simply brought him down, the same way a Commander might bring down a king.

AND PLZ ADMINS, The utopia rumour was already resolved in a huge thread, it over, proven false, why is another thread allowed?

IANAL, but I'm pretty sure that copyright is implicit when you release content. Nothing to apply for in the US, but I don't know about South Korea.

If you're referring to the missing trademark information on the USPTO site, I can inform you that pending patents and trademarks only go public once the product has been released, and as such it's expected that it won't show up until the game is announced or released.

No sane development team works 9 months on a title with a 1 year development period without having a name for it.

Actually I do recall someone posting an interview or something a few months back where the devs said they were toying with the idea of maybe adding life skills at some point. But as I look at the last page of the Riverside section, the oldest thread is from December '06; so I don't think we're going to find that thread.

There is a thread display option box at the bottom of each forum. If you click on "from the beginning", it goes back to '04.

I love how people think the name of the console was ever Revolution. It wasn't. Revolution was the codename for the project. Wii was first and only announced name.

Even if Utopia is the name, it won't matter. It's not going to make the game come out any sooner or decide the content in the game, so there is no reason to argue over it. Just wait for a press release on the new game that gives it a name.

like Gaile or it may have been that Alex guy, who cares somebody that works for Guild Wars said it.

What they said was that dont believe anything unless they formally announce it!!!

So people quit worrying about it, you just got a new game so instead of going all over the next game, playing it for a week then wondering what Chapter 5 is. Play nightfall and enjoy it! When Gaile or that Alex guy actually announce it then you can say for sure that it will be called "Guild Wars: Utopia". Right now its just a name that hasnt been confirmed so why doesnt it even matter, do you have to know the name??? Try and enjoy the 3 chapters they already made and that you guys guessed for so long what the names would be and wait for them to announce Chapter 4 formally.

I don't think they registered guildwarsutopia.com for NOTHING; That would be stupid and crazy. They OBVIOUSLY registered that domain for a REASON. Now, is not clear if that reason has or hasn't a real future.

oh, I couldn't agree more. Wastelands and deserts are so boring... I dislike post-searing Ascalon, most of the Shiverpeaks, the Crystal Desert, the Ring of Fire, Echovald Forest (far too dark), the Kaineng slums, Kourna, Desolation, Realm of Torment (which ranged from gloomy to disgusting, although it was very creative)... etc etc...

I want some beautiful, interesting, lush landscapes.. and possibly more indoors areas (I particularly like parts of Vabbi, Maguuma Jungle, Shing Jea Island)

And as for storyline.. can we have less one-dimensional villains please? Varesh is all "Hail Abaddon" for no reason. And please, a storyline other than "omg there's evil and we have to save the world because we are heroes and we never fight alone".. .... ...
